A Nawa Representative is a trusted person on the ground in Bangladesh. When someone living overseas cannot be present for a parent, a sibling or a relative, a representative goes instead — and behaves the way that family member would hope a person would behave.
This can mean sitting with someone through a hospital appointment, helping at a bank or government office, meeting a relative at the airport, running a practical errand, or simply checking in and reporting back honestly.
The work is flexible. Assignments vary in length, place and nature. What does not vary is the expectation: arrive when you said you would, behave professionally, respect privacy, follow instructions, and treat the person in front of you with dignity.

Who may be suitable
People with care, service, community, healthcare, hospitality, administrative or customer-facing backgrounds often do this well — but the background matters less than the person. Being accepted by Nawa is selective, and it carries responsibility.
